SARGE was SAVED

Meet Sarge — The Dog Everyone Dreams Of

Meet Sarge, a 1 year old Husky mix who may truly be the perfect companion. At 52 pounds, neutered, vaccinated, and full of love, Sarge is the kind of dog people hope to find but rarely do.

He has a calm and gentle nature that surprises everyone for such a young dog. While many one year olds are still full of chaos and nonstop energy, Sarge carries himself with an easygoing sweetness that makes life with him feel effortless. He is potty trained, walks beautifully on leash, and has wonderful manners in the home.

Sarge is also incredibly social and kindhearted. He gets along great with other dogs, does well with cats, and loves being around people. He enjoys playtime, but what he wants most is simple: to be close to his human and share everyday life together.

What makes Sarge’s story even more heartbreaking is that he was scheduled to be euthanized at the shelter simply because he had been there too long. Not because he was aggressive. Not because he was sick. Not because he had done anything wrong. Only because he ran out of time.

Thankfully, someone stepped in before it was too late, and Sarge was given the second chance every good dog deserves.

Now he is safe, but safety is only the beginning. What Sarge truly needs is a forever home where he will be cherished, included, and loved for the rest of his life.

He is the kind of dog who will bring peace to your home, loyalty to your heart, and joy to your everyday routine. A walking buddy, a best friend, a steady presence, and a reminder of how beautiful rescue can be.

If you have been waiting for an amazing dog to enter your life, Sarge may be the one.

Will you open your heart and home to this very good boy? 🐾💛
