Lorelai's Second Chance: A Puppy Deserves More Than a Death Sentence

At just 14 weeks old, Lorelai should have been discovering the world with curiosity and joy.

Instead, she found herself on the euthanasia list because of an eye condition.

No puppy should face the loss of their life over a treatable medical issue.

When we learned about Lorelai, we knew we had to act.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of both a medical donor and a transport donor, we were able to rescue her and get her the veterinary care she urgently needed.

Today, Lorelai is safe.

She's receiving treatment, beginning her recovery, and finally getting the chance to simply be a puppy.

While we don't know exactly what happened before she entered the shelter, we do know one thing: every puppy deserves compassion, medical care, and the opportunity to grow up in a loving home.

Lorelai still has healing ahead of her, but her future is already brighter because people chose to care.

We're excited to watch her continue her recovery and hope she'll soon find the forever family she's been waiting for.
