Meet Jovie!

Jovie is a 1 year-old, affectionate female shepherd/golden retriever mix who is friendly, well-behaved and loves people and dogs. She is a medium size dog, currently weighing around 42 pounds, with a beautiful, kind face, and pretty apricot-colored coat with splotches of white in all the right places. She's a real beauty!

Everyone who meets Jovie falls in love with her sweet nature--and her current foster in Massachusetts just adores her! Jovie is shy at first, so we are working on building her confidence. She is quiet, obedient, and very tender, so will easily fit in with most households. She is house trained, walks well on a leash, likes car rides and her toys. Jovie is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccines.

Jovie is truly a gentle soul! Whether it's a walk, or simply lounging on the couch, she wants to be right by your side!

Micaela Passeri is the passionate founder behind Saving Dogs. Known for her deep compassion and commitment to making a difference, she has dedicated the last several years to rescuing dogs from high-kill shelters and giving them a second chance at life. Micaela believes every dog deserves love, safety, and a forever home. Her vision for Saving Dogs is not only to rescue and rehome dogs in need, but also to raise awareness, inspire community action, and put an end to unnecessary euthanasia.
