JOVE was SAVED

Jove’s Second Chance

Jove is only 11 months old… and she almost didn’t make it.

She found herself on the euthanasia list, with her time running out before she even had the chance to experience what a real life could look like. Thankfully, she was saved just in time alongside her brother, Buddy.

Moments like this are a reminder of how quickly a life can be lost in the shelter system, and how powerful it is when someone steps in to change that outcome.

A Gentle Soul

Jove is a Shepherd Golden Retriever mix with a soft, gentle nature.

When she first arrived, she was shy and unsure, which is completely understandable after everything she had been through. But even then, her sweetness was undeniable.

She has a quiet way of asking for love, gently rubbing herself against your leg when she wants affection. It’s her way of saying she’s ready to trust, even if she’s still finding her confidence.

Learning to Be a Dog Again

Now in her foster home, Jove is slowly coming out of her shell.

She is adjusting beautifully, exploring her surroundings, and enjoying simple moments like running in the yard and chasing birds. With each passing day, she is learning that she is safe.

She just needs a little time, patience, and a lot of love.

The Home She Deserves

Jove is looking for a forever home where she can continue to grow into the confident, loving dog she is meant to be.

A calm and patient environment will allow her to fully open up and thrive.

She has already shown how much love she has to give. Now she just needs someone to give her the chance.

Can You Be That Person?

Jove’s story could have ended before it truly began.

Instead, she was given a second chance.

If you are looking for a gentle, loving companion, Jove may be the perfect fit for your home.
